LET THERE BE LIGHT
“In him was life, and that life was the light of men. That light shines in the darkness, and yet the darkness did not overcome it.” John 1:4-5
A MESSAGE FROM THE ARTIST
In the beginning, God spoke His first words into the void of darkness (represented in the picture by the golden sound waves). Christ, who is the Word, is then revealed to us as the image of light who pierces through the night.
Light broke through again at the holy birth. When our Emmanuel came to dwell, a bright star kept its glow until the wise men found Him. And as Jesus grew in wisdom and favor, this is what He had to say:
“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12
This Christmas, I pray that Christ be your holy light.
In seasons of darkness, unknowns, and doubt, may His glory lead you forward.
Like the wise men, may you walk in destiny and seek new discoveries in His love.
May your eyes be opened to see Jesus, in all of His beauty and splendor, as you believe Him to be who He says He is.
May the Holy Spirit fill you anew and remind you always of Christ, the hope of heaven inside of you.
I pray you fully seek after the Father’s voice and that His Word will echo over you and within you: “Let there be light.”
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,
Amber ❤️
